Getting the Pro Israel message out

It matters; Vote! Remember this year to look close at the stance of politicians who talk about Israel. So far, Obama and Ron Paul are out as far as I'm concerned. I'm convinced that Obama said he supports Israel in his recent state of the union address because his advisers told him to.

The good news is that "We the People" in America support Israel as a majority and politicians know that; The bad news is that, they can say they are supporters because that's what we want to hear. So let's pay attention this year.

Palestinians still trying backdoor methods

Palestinian officials say that they will soon resume their effort to gain U.N. membership and they could launch a nonviolent third intifada. (That of course is an oxymoron.) The Palestinians had put their U.N. bid on hold to participate in informal Jordanian-sponsored talks with Israel that began at the beginning of the year in Amman. “We hear from our Jordanian friends that things are not going well,” said Sabri Saidam, an adviser to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. Mr. Saidam and other Palestinian officials said the U.N. campaign would begin anew.
A return to the U.N. would rile the United States, who has vowed to veto the Palestinian application for membership. The United States was spared the headache of a veto in September because the Palestinians failed to gain a nine-vote majority. The U.N. campaign is just one aspect of what many Palestinian officials describe an approach that seeks to isolate Israel diplomatically while engaging in mass nonviolent protests.

"Rebirth" shows how the Jews already offered every Arab living in the area peace, but the U.N. still fails to recognize the Palestinians as non-cooperators.

Learning about the past so we can change our future is something we should all do. Rebirth touches on the very emotions of human nature. I wanted to cry with Charles as he learned who he was and his heritage. I wanted to give hugs to so many of the characters in this book, to let them cry on my shoulder and cry with them. Last September the Palestinian Authority planned to tie Israel up in legal knots at the UN with an appeal for statehood in the West Bank and Gaza based on the 1948 armistice line (commonly and misleadingly referred to as the “1967 borders”).

Wherever you are on the political map, it’s time that the world is reminded of Israel’s historical and legal rights as well as how Israel found itself in control of the disputed territories.

More hot air?

Israel and Palestinian negotiators meeting in Amman, for the first direct talks in 16 months agreed to continue talking,

Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, who hosted the talks, said after the meeting that the Palestinian delegation submitted proposals on border and security issues to Israel, and that the Israeli team took the proposals and said it would respond and present its ideas in a future meeting. He added that while there was no breakthrough, the importance of sitting down and conducting a direct dialogue was not insignificant.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas warned before the talks that Israel’s failure to accept the Palestinian demands for resuming the peace process would prompt him to take “hard measures.” Speaking in Ramallah, Abbas said the peace process would not be revived unless Israel agreed to freeze settlement construction and accepted the pre-1967 lines as the basis for a two-state solution.

While we all want theses guys "talking" it's the same stalemate as usual. I still find it unthinkable for Israel to give one square inch to a group of people that will not recognize them as a nation.

I'd love to see our troops come home. If it were simple to pull them out of the terrorist ridden areas, and our enemies respected it and leave us alone, then I'd agree with you to bring our brave troops and our great allies home.

Did you know?? Hitler's propaganda was so prolific in Los Angeles and New York that a person (like a character from "Rebirth" did in the 1940s) could purchase Nazi propaganda packets so they could spread the lies to the mass public. But our Islamic enemies have added to the Nazi propaganda machine with all sorts of other battle tactics; The worst being the belief that allah will protect them. So with no common sense or fear of serious retaliation, they are plotting nuclear and mass destruction to the U.S. and Israel.

I agree with one politician from our past regarding this matter: "We can't afford to be wrong one time."

We all need to remember (I hope you're paying attention Ron Paul) that our's and Israel's foes are not going to go away with the removal of our troops; they do NOT want peace, they want domination and destruction to democracy.

Let's pay attention to what the running candidates are saying in their early stages before they increase their gibberish (and tell the people what they want to hear) as election time draws near.

Europe continues criticizing Israel

With a 33 to 13 vote in 1947 in favor of Jewish and Arab states in Palestine, Europe has still carried the anti-Semitic hatred that Hitler inflamed.

Following recent European condemnation of settlement activity, Israel issued sharp rebukes to France, Germany, England and Portugal: If they want to condemn others, they should focus on Syria and Iran to name a few.

The U.S. agrees and says these European statements are not conducive to peace in the Middle East.

"Rebirth" covers many aspects of when it all heated up in the first place, beginning with Hitler's extended campaign to rile European Arabs and Asians with a fully German funded radio station to broadcast lies about Jews in Arabic all throughout Europe and Asia.

What's really amazing is that those lies were passed down to their children (which was also a Hitler initiation) and those children are the finger pointers of today, who now are passing poison to their children so the cycle will continue.

Iran - not to be underestimated

Iran, otherwise know as Persia in the bible, is still a large threat to both Israel and the U.S. For Israel, the news has covered their threat well enough that this writer doesn't need to cover. But a lesser known plot from Iran is to purchase nuclear subs and park them off the eastern coast of the U.S. They know if they want to wipe out Israel, they'd have to also do the same to the U.S., if they were to survive.

While it seems far fetched (and nobody wants to hear it) Iran stands the chance of doing just that.

Despite repeated UN Security Council resolutions condemning Iran's nuclear program, the rogue regime in Tehran is marching forward, threatening regional and global stability. Congress has approved legislation that would help clamp down on Iran's funding by issuing a new set of sanctions.

This "sanction" has historically proven to be useless, thought I'm all for any attempt at tying anything prior to war to stop a madman.

Since many of us do not believe our current president "gets it" and thus this is truly a time we must pray specifically against Iran's goals, (along with their cohorts Hamas and Hezbollah to name a few) because we need God's protection from yet another enemy who desperately desires to wipe out good countries to further their cause. God works through prayer!

Israel proposed, and the Palestinians rejected, a call to resume direct negotiations when Quartet representatives come to Jerusalem Wednesday, Israeli officials said Sunday. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's spokesman, Mark Regev, said, "We are disappointed and frustrated by the Palestinian leadership's repeated refusal to engage directly with Israel....They say they believe in peace, but it is very difficult to square this rejectionist position - a position that boycotts sitting at the table with Israel - with their stated aim of supporting peace and reconciliation."

Rebirth's eyewitness reads the book

Similar to Rebirth's main character Charles Devonshire, an actual eyewitness, Zipporah Porath "Zippy" lived through the amazing volatile events that created a nation more controversial than any other country in history. She was kind enough to confirm many facts from fiction during the writing of Rebirth as we corresponded several times about the reestablishment of Israel.

Zippy was a journalism student from New York and intended to study for one year at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in 1947. But after a cloak and dagger encounter with the Haganah (the Jewish underground military) she volunteered as a nurse during the heated exchange between Jews and Arabs and saw numerous miracles take place. To have a living eyewitness to confer with was a real blessing that most authors only dream of.

Now in her mid 80's, Zippy has read Rebirth and this is (in part) what she said: "Your narrative writing skills are evident; the story flows and sustains interest. The concept behind Rebirth

After having over two decades of biblical Israeli studies, I had always had an admiration of how Israel has survived the ages.

About three years ago I wanted set out to write about Israel's reestablishment with an emphasis on the prophecies that led to Israel's rebirth in 1948.

Iran taunts Israel

Iran: "Prepared for War with Israel"

In a continuation of its statements from the past several days, Iran threatened Israel with a barrage of missiles, if the Jewish State attacks its nuclear facilities.

Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi told the Fars news agency that Israel will not have a minimal chance of survival after attacking Iran. "The enemy must answer this question, if it attacks Iran, for how long a battle and losing how many of its warships and vessels has it prepared itself?" Vahidi said.

Pray for peace in Israel because it will affect us all.

If you liked Exodus by Leon Uris, you will love Rebirth by Dave Longeuay. From the first page I was gripped by this tale of espionage, romance, and the proganist’s pursuit of familial secrets. It begins in July 1945 as Charles Devonshire, a precocious teen-ager, travels to Palestine where he hopes to escape an abusive anti semitic father & solve the mystery of his parents’ mysterious past. On the ship and in port he witnesses the British, professed enemies of the Nazis, nonetheless echoing Nazi anti-semitism. The book moves along at a suspenseful, exciting eventful pace for the next two years illuminating the emotional development of Charles, as extreme circumstances propel him into heroic manhood, as well as a close up view of the painful accurate history of Israel’s rebirth as a nation. Along the way we are introduced to characters who seem absolutely real and interact naturally with the real historical characters whose names we recognize. The author says the novel is based on actual events and even the events that are made up feel like they certainly could have, maybe even did, happen. This history remains relevant to the ongoing middle east crisis. I was struck by the timeliness of the following:

“Moshe stood. ‘Heres the root of our problem. Most Arabs and Jews want peace. It’s the radicals on each side who incite violence and who pressure peaceful Jews and Arabs to fight or die.’ He pulled a paper from his satchel. ‘The grand mufti, Al Husseini, broadcast this message throughout Europe with Nazi funding: ‘Arabs, arise and fight for your sacred rights. Kill Jews wherever you find them. This pleases God, history and religion.” (p. 276)

Earlier, in chapter 17, Charles helps out a young Arab man who has run out of gas for his motorcycle. Later that same young man who is part of a group of young Arabs who believe they must fight and kill the Jews and Americans saves Charles and his friends from the murderous wrath of his own companions because he remembers that Charles had come to his aid earlier and reminds Charles that he had said then he would not forget. It is good that we get to glimpse this desire of each of these young men to treat each other with humanity in the midst of the fear and violence all around them.

My favorite books, the books I consider to be classics, are books that enlighten and educate while they entertain and engage the reader as this one does. I was familiar with the general outlines of Israel’s history but this book transported me to that time and place and I felt like I had experienced it. I highly recommend that anyone interested in the history of Israel as well as the current political situation in the middle east read Rebirth for a fuller understanding of the way history is made. The author has been for many years a songwriter and run a multi media Recording studio expanded in 2000 to include video services and his own experience includes writing, producing, shooting and editing a feature length documentary film. These skills and experience would explain his success at creating a novel with such filmic immediacy. I am very much looking forward to following Charles and his beloved Gladia in the sequel: Reborn.

Another eyewitness of Israel's foes

Last night I attended a pro Israel event in Yorba Linda, Ca. sponsored by CUFI. (Christians United for Israel).

In amazement I listened to Israeli commander, Colonel Gruber, who currently commands 20,000 Israeli troops and got to hear straight from the source, the mindset of the IDF (Israel Defense Force.) I also shook his hand and gave him a free copy of Rebirth, which he insisted I sign before he could accept it.

He spoke about what I had wrote in Rebirth! How the Israeli government goes to great lengths (and he proved it with video that you'll never see on the news) to avoid shedding innocent blood. Their policy? In no way shape or form will an Israeli soldier fire at a terrorist if it means harming a non-combatant civilian. They let them out of their gips everyday when it comes to sparing innocent lives—Arab or Israeli.

He also showed how many Islamists use this compassion for their gain. Colonel Gruber played several videos of Islamist terrorists grabbing children as their human shields. The Colonel was so adamant of not harming innocent people, he admitted to warning the enemy when and where they would attack in Gaza whenever they'd find a home used as a munitions storage facility.

On his last raid, where he personally warned an entire neighborhood to evacuate a terrorist home with leaflets from above and phone calls, all their neighbors suddenly showed up for a bar-b-cue on the rooftop. The Colonel first shot a warning round at the edge of the roof to scatter the unknowing neighbors and waited for the home to be vacated before they destroyed the munitions intended for Israel's destruction.

This and many more examples showed me personally how accurate Rebirth is. It's a must read for anyone who desires to be informed with actual events that shaped a legitimate nation in 1948. A gripping story that will open your eyes, even if you think you're familiar with this event. And it has a classic love story that will tug at your heart.

An eyewitness to Rebirth's story!

Zipporah ("Zippy") Porath was a girl with a mission when it came to the struggle for Israeli statehood in 1948.

She arrived in British Mandatory Palestine in Oct. 1947, as an American student, for what was intended to be a year of study at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. But, caught up in the Jewish national fight for survival, she joined the underground defense forces and served as a medic in the siege of Jerusalem.

Zippy was present on November 29^th, 1947 when the United Nations announced its approval of the Partition of Palestine (Resolution 181) into a Jewish State and an Arab State. The Jews accepted, but the Arab response was outright rejection and immediate invasion by the armed forces of six neighboring Arab countries, with intent to "kill all Jews" in Palestine. Today, Israel is still facing the same diabolical threat, which begs the question: How can a tiny nation survive such incessant massive hate and harassment?

The answer can be found in Rebirth and in Zippy's books.

Her book of "Letters from Jerusalem 1947-1948", comprising the letters she wrote to her family in New York, captures the volatile events that shaped Middle East history, as they were happening, in a blow-by-blow account. Israel's ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor on Thursday asked UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, the Security Council, and the international community to censure rocket attacks on Israel from Gaza.

Until recently I was anti-Semitic and anti-Israel. Until recently, I was the one doing the hating.

Growing up in a Muslim community in the UK, I was exposed to materials condemning Israel, painting Jews as usurpers and murderers. There was also constant, casual anti-Semitism around me. My father would boast of how Adolf Hitler was a hero, his only failing being that he didn't kill enough Jews.

What changed? In a bookstore one day I found myself in the Israel and Palestine section where I picked up a copy of Alan Dershowitz's The Case for Israel. I decided to buy it, eagerly awaiting the chance to deconstruct it so I could show why Israel had no case. As I read Dershowitz's systematic deconstruction of the lies I had been told, I felt a real crisis of conscience. I couldn't disprove his arguments.

I decided to visit Israel to find the truth. I was confronted by Jews and Arabs living together, by minorities playing huge parts in all areas of Israeli life. It was shocking and eye-opening. This wasn't the evil Zionist Israel that I had been told about. It is time to stem the tide of Israel bashing before it becomes even more mainstream and consumes even more people like me.

Part two: Meet the characters of Rebirth
Dov Grunner:

Dov was one of the commanders of the Irgun and Gladia's brother. The Irgun was a radical Jewish
underground group in Palestine during the 1940s. Their primary mission: Keep Jews safe from Arab
"irregulars" (coined that phrase because they followed Hitler's scheme to rid the world of Jews.) who were; terrorists in the area and also drive the ruling British military out of Palestine so they could establish an independent Jewish state. The Irgun did the dirty work and were often scorned by the Jewish Agency leadership. Dov's biggest challenge was keeping his volunteers (many were Holocaust survivors) from going overboard and killing Arabs and British soldiers outside of battles. As a former WWII Jewish/British soldier, Dov had unique insights into the British tactics of war.

After spending six months in the Atlit detainee camp for his "illegal" entry into Palestine to escape the Nazis, he joined the Betar movement in Rosh Pina and became a member of the Irgun. In 1941, he joined the British army to fight against the Nazis, and together with his comrades in the Jewish Brigade came to the aid of Holocaust survivors in Europe.

After Grunner's demobilization from the army, in March 1946, he resumed his activity on behalf of the Irgun and joined its fighting force. He took part in an Irgun operation against an occupational military target to gain access to weapons from a British army depot near Netanya. Ten days later he participated in his second and final operation on behalf of the Irgun - the attack on a Ramat Gan police station. He was severely wounded and initially denied medical treatment. While in prison, he became close with some of his guards, who changed their views after meeting him.

Refusing to partake in his own defense and refusing to co-operate with counsel, he was said to have been offered a commutation on the condition that he admit guilt. He refused to do so and was given a death sentence.

Despite the maximum security of his prison situation, Gruner maintained an irregular correspondence with Irgun headquarters. Among the correspondence between Gruner and headquarters were: His refusal of Irgun assistance with legal counsel (owing to his principled stand regarding non-cooperation with the British court system in Eretz Yisrael), his query whether he should commit suicide in order to make a political statement (the Irgun leadership quickly responded against the initiative) and most famously, what's believed to have been his final letter, shortly before he was to... He was used to young ladies back home shunning him and showing no interest in his vast level of intelligence, love for books and deeper issues in life. And besides her mutual interest in those things, Gladia captured everyone's heart with her unique personality and insight into the only world she had known--the middle ground between Jews and Arabs.

Charles was enchanted with Gladia's zeal and passion, because she was so opposite of his serious/intellectual personality. And when he became convinced by her affectionate signals, he was sure love and romance was on the horizon. And that's when the painful challenges began.

No wonder Obama is finally stepping up and saying the right thing. IT'S ELECTION TIME. He has to in order the at least think of another four years. Of course I'm personally praying him out of office and I'm not afraid to say so. Even though his overdue speech to the UN was great, it's all for reelection status, but he at least said it publicly. Let's not repeat this election process without making Israel's support a bigger issue in the presidential campaign! Are you with me?

Obama’s Speech at UN Should Not Have Been a Surprise

The stunned expressions on Palestinian delegates' faces as they listened to President Obama bluntly reject their bid for statehood at the UN was proof of just how far they had allowed themselves to believe in their own hype. Palestinians actually believed that they had driven a wedge between Israel and its American backers.

Obama is an American president who has gone beyond all others in standing up for Palestinian rights and aspirations, who is openly antagonistic to Israel's leadership, and who has frequently stated his goal of a fast track to Palestinian statehood. Yet when the cards were down, President Obama demolished years of Palestinian self-deception.

Over the years, Americans have come to a better understanding of - and an empathy towards - the plight of the Palestinians, but this has not translated into a lesser support for Israel. Yes, Americans feel that Palestinians should get their own state, but no, the Americans do not believe that it must come at Israel's expense.

Americans have generally sympathized with Israel over the Palestinians and today, Israel still enjoys vast support in American society. They may have differences over certain policy issues, including the issue of settlements, but these are in no way divisive differences.

President Obama knows that he cannot walk directly counter to the expressed wishes of his electorate. The average American still values Israel and sides with it and any president must come to terms with that if he wants to stay in office another 4 years.

President Barack Obama told the UN General Assembly on Wednesday:

One year ago, I stood at this podium and I called for an independent Palestine. I believed then, and I believe now, that the Palestinian people deserve a state of their own. But what I also said is that a genuine peace can only be realized between the Israelis and the Palestinians themselves....Israelis must know that any agreement provides assurances for their security. Palestinians deserve to know the territorial basis of their state.

Peace will not come through statements and resolutions at the United Nations....Ultimately, it is the Israelis and the Palestinians - not us - who must reach agreement on the issues that divide them.

America's commitment to Israel's security is unshakeable. Our friendship with Israel is deep and enduring. And so we believe that any lasting peace must acknowledge the very real security concerns that Israel faces every single day.

Let us be honest with ourselves: Israel is surrounded by neighbors that have waged repeated wars against it. Israel's citizens have been killed by rockets fired at their houses and suicide bombs on their buses. Israel's children come of age knowing that throughout the region, other children are taught to hate them.

Israel, a small country of less than eight million people, looks out at a world where leaders of much larger nations threaten to wipe it off of the map. The Jewish people carry the burden of centuries of exile and persecution, and fresh memories of knowing that six million people were killed simply because of who they are. Those are facts. They cannot be denied.

The Jewish people have forged a successful state in their historic homeland. Israel deserves recognition. It deserves normal relations with its neighbors. And friends of the Palestinians do them no favors by ignoring this truth.

Rebirth will show readers how the Palestinians of 1948 arrived in the predicament they're in today.

Most of you know the Palestinian leadership will ask the UN Security Council for recognition of a Palestinian state on the basis of 1967 borders which are entirely indefensible for the State of Israel.

Britain supports a Palestinian state. So does the U.S. So does the EU. In fact, so does Israel. But there is one party that most emphatically does not support a Palestinian state, if that means long-term acceptance of the State of Israel: the Palestinians themselves. Opinion polls have consistently shown that the Palestinians only support the idea of a Palestinian state sitting side-by-side with Israel as a stepping stone to a future one-state solution in which they rule over the Jews.

In other words, the Israelis have always been in the near impossible situation of being asked to negotiate with people who plainly don't want any long-term peace involving the acceptance of Israel as a legitimate state with a secure future, whatever their leaders say about recognizing Israel to gullible Western media.

Arab leaders freely admit that Palestinian statehood is the first step to the final destruction of Israel.
The Palestinian state calls for dividing Jerusalem—cutting off the biblical holy places from Jews and Christians.
The Palestinian state proposes borders that further diminish Israel, leaving half a million Jews homeless.
The Palestinian state cuts Israel in half and leaves God’s Promised Land virtually defenseless.
The Palestinian state is “Judenrein,” racist—free of Jews, no Jews are allowed, and very limited to Christians.

Money talks even at the UN

Even as extremists from Gaza fire rockets and mortars at civilians in southern Israel and cause death and destruction, we must not forget about another danger facing Israel: a unilateral campaign by Palestinian leaders to secure recognition from individual foreign governments and from the United Nations for a self-declared Palestinian "state." This anti-Israel, anti-peace scheme must be stopped.

U.N. actions would severely undermine opportunities for a negotiated peace between Israel and the Palestinians. They would provide implicit recognition and legitimacy to a self-declared "state" and reward and reinforce the unilateral, rejectionist policies of the Palestinian leadership.

Fortunately, we are not helpless in the face of this dangerous challenge. There is a historical precedent for how to stop it. In 1989, Yasser Arafat's PLO also pushed for membership for a "Palestinian state." The PLO's strategy looked unstoppable until the George H.W. Bush administration made clear that the U.S. would cut off funding to any UN entity that upgraded the status of the Palestinian observer in any way. The UN was forced to choose between isolating Israel and receiving U.S. contributions, and they chose the latter. The PLO's unilateral campaign was stopped in its tracks.

This example demonstrates a simple but needed lesson: At the UN, money talks, and smart withholding works. It is time to use all our leverage to stop this unilateral Palestinian scheme - for the sake of our ally Israel and all free democracies, for the sake of peace and security, and for the sake of achieving a UN that upholds its founding principles.

Since this questiion is asked frequently, from time to time, I like to answer this legitimate question for those who are new to this blog site.

Rebirth is actually written for ALL faiths to enjoy, which was not easy to do. We all know, no book will please everyone. With that said, Rebirth is 100% Jewish and Christian friendly. Personally, I'm Christian and I fully understand that many Jews do not want to be "preached at" about Jesus. I respected that when I wrote Rebirth.

Based on the Torah and the Prophets (Leviticus chapter 26, Ezekiel chapters 36, 37, and 38, and my favorite, Amos 9:14,15) both faiths will be able to read, enjoy, learn, laugh and cry about this compelling story which nicely highlights many great stories in the making of Israel—all while supporting America's strongest ally in the Middle East—Israel. I love, appreciate and marvel at God's handywork in this nation! I don't know a single Jew or Christian who does not embrace the above mentioned scriptures. So personally, at a time when both faiths need to unite more than ever for the good of Israel and America, I look at what we DO have in common, rather then what we don't.

Israel: Still open for aid while under attack

This news brief is very consistent with Israel's history accounted for in the compelling novel Rebirth: Jews were known back then (in 1948) to help the innocent, even while under attack. Today, they still honor that tradition. Why isn't this part in the mainstream media?

Over 130 rockets and mortar shells were fired at Israel since Thursday (August 18). But the Gaza land crossings, Kerem Shalom and Erez, continue to operate.

On Sunday (August 21) over 60 patients and their chaperones crossed into Israel for medical treatment. Approximately 150 truckloads of goods, food products and fuel gas were delivered from Israel into the Gaza Strip on Monday (August 22).

In June-August 2011, nearly 50,000 children and adolescents took part in Hamas-run summer camps in Gaza, as they do every year.
In addition to social activities, the camps offered Quran lessons, indoctrination with Hamas' political ideology, and paramilitary training.
The core values are radical Islam, "the liberation of Palestine," jihad, and death for the sake of Allah.
The older children use real rifles in paramilitary training, which also includes hand-to-hand combat.
At the summer camp graduation ceremony in Al-Zeitoun on July 29, teenagers in military uniform reenacted the abduction of IDF soldier Gilad Shalit and blew up a cardboard model of an Israeli tank.

Palestinian State?

One of the biggest problems my novel Rebirth points out for Palestinians: they were not ready to govern a state in 1948 and they're not ready now. A Palestinian state today would draw even more aid that it is now to govern themselves. If they can't govern their people without land today, how are they going to run a country tomorrow? The American government (among many others) still gives millions every year to Palestinians and much of that money is UNACCOUNTED FOR.

In a few weeks, an overwhelming majority in the UN General Assembly will likely vote for collective recognition of a Palestinian state. But the purely imaginary state that the assembly will endorse has neither a functioning government nor meets the requirements of international law.

The PLO does not seek statehood for the West Bank. Its minimum demand is a state that includes Gaza and the eastern part of Jerusalem, demanding title to lands and authority over populations it does not control.

Mahmoud Abbas is presenting himself as the president of the Palestine that is pressing the claim in the UN, but he is not considered to be the president anymore by Hamas, the largest political party in the putative state. Abbas' term expired in January 2009.

The Palestine that the General Assembly will recognize also will have two rival prime ministers pursuing incompatible policies. Hamas denies that Abbas has the authority to appoint Salam Fayyad as prime minister. This putative state also has a legislature that never meets. Elected on Jan. 25, 2006, for a term of four years, the PLC has enacted no laws, and conducted no meetings since 2007.

Unique Support for Israel

Can a novel change the hearts of the undecided to support Israel? Rebirth already has many times over. As I send thousands of notices out about Rebirth's support of Israel, I ultimately get the question, "how does this novel support Israel?"

The answer is simple: by telling a gripping true story (blended with some fictional characters) of a remnant of scattered Jews, who built a might superpower in the Middle East. And by also showing in the story how the Jewish leadership used legitimate legal channels to reestablish their nation against the odds.

How is Rebirth changing undecided hearts to support this mighty nation right now? I'm getting lots of bitter people writing me that do not understand how Israel came to be, and I can't help engaging in conversations online, based on my research to enlighten skeptics, that Israel is filled with real human beings who deserve a right to a peaceful life.

One example: bitter writers complain that Jews forced Arabs out of Palestine in 1948. But on the contrary, Rebirth shows how Arab attacking countries put out a public call for all Arabs to evacuate so they'll be out of the way on the "war on annihilation," as they called it.

The proof lies in Israel's Arab population today. Take a guess how many Israeli citizens reside in Israel today. Before my research, I guessed about 1,000. But I was off by a whopping 1.5 million. Yes, over 20% of Israel's population today are Arabs who were either directly invited to remain as citizens in 1948, or are now descendants of those who were. ALL Arabs desiring peace who resided in that land in 1948, were offered free citizenship. Now ask me why didn't the evacuees (who unknowingly became refugees) return from the neighboring Arab countries? Send me the question, and I'll send the shocking answer.

The evidence is clear that God reestablished Israel by the fulfilling of prophecy! (Leviticus chapter 26.) And on 11/11/11, the massive marketing campaign for Rebirth will spread a compelling argument to millions of readers who are "on the fence" about stepping up and supporting this great nation. And in doing so, they will agree with God, this nation must exist in the last days.

Today I have added a new scene to Rebirth (while in the final editing stages) showing how the Jews had tirelessly initiated numerous peace meetings with the Arabs in Palestine and abroad since the 1940s, only to be frustrated to see Arabs not show up much of the time. Rebirth will clearly show that negotiations with terrorist minded foes of Israel will NEVER work! Will somebody please forward this to Obama?

There is a lot of diplomatic activity at the moment to persuade Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas not to seek statehood in the autumn. It's likely that more than two-thirds of the UN General Assembly will recognize a Palestinian state if it goes to a vote. But a state cannot get actual membership of the UN unless it is approved by the Security Council, and the Americans will veto.

Diplomats say the key voters are Germany, France and the UK. Germany has said no to recognition; France is "on the fence but trending positively" and the UK is undecided.

President Obama's apparently personal decision, in his May speech referenced a bogus solution based on a land giveaway from the Pre-1967 borders. This infuriated the Israelis and rightly so since it would have opened up a giant security hole in Israel. "We felt like it was an ambush," an Israeli cabinet minister said. "What seems clear at the moment is that America's most important ally in the Middle East doesn't have a voice in the inner circle. Another reason to NOT see Obama reelected.

The gaps are so wide - not just between us and the president, said the Isrealis, but between Obama and his staff."

Robert Kennedy's 1948 Reports from Palestine helped contribute to his early death

Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, brother of slain U.S. President John F. Kennedy and former U.S. Attorney General, was the leading Democratic candidate for president when he was gunned down at a primary victory celebration in California on June 5, 1968. His Palestinian assassin, Sirhan Sirhan, said he killed Kennedy due to his vocal support for Israel.

In April 1948, one month before Israel declared independence, Robert Kennedy, then 22, traveled to Palestine to report on the conflict for the Boston Post. His four dispatches from the scene were published in June 1948. The newspaper closed in 1956, and for decades the reports were virtually forgotten.

Kennedy arrived in a chaotic and dangerous land on the eve of the British departure. Jewish Jerusalem was under Arab siege and Arab armies were pouring into the territory. The British authorities were hampering Jews' efforts to defend themselves.

Kennedy praised the Jews in Palestine. "The Jewish people in Palestine who believe in and have been working toward this national state have become an immensely proud and determined people," Kennedy wrote. "It is already a truly great modern example of the birth of a nation with the primary ingredients of dignity and self-respect."

One of his dispatches was headlined, "Jews Make Up for Lack of Arms with Undying Spirit, Unparalleled Courage." In one of his accounts, Kennedy describes his traveling with Haganah fighters in a convoy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

The young reporter was critical of a temporary slippage of the American government's support for Jewish statehood. He feared that the U.S. was shifting towards Britain's negative policies and its aim "to crush" the Zionist cause. "If the American people knew the true facts," Kennedy wrote, "I am certain a more honest and forthright policy would be substituted for the benefit of all."

With all the talk of the country's sense of isolation, when Netanyahu spoke to the most important parliament in the world, it exuded nothing but warmth toward Israel.

So is Obama admitting to a blundered peace plan when he announced Israel should return it's pre - 1967 boarders?

And so for that reason I think the Palestinians are going to have to answer some very difficult questions about this agreement that's been made between Fatah and Hamas. When hundreds of people burst across the border fence into the Israeli-controlled town of Majdal Shams, surprised soldiers opened fire. Syrian forces did not intervene.

At the Lebanese border near Maroun al-Ras, Israeli troops clashed with a large crowd of Lebanese demonstrators who approached the border. In Gaza, demonstrators were wounded as they tried to approach a heavily fortified border crossing into Israel.

I find it unthinkable that an American president would have to be "urged" by his own democrat party to cut off support to an anti-Israel establishment such as the ones named below.

The letter, signed by 27 Democratic senators, which was sent May 6 and initiated by Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ), said: "It is imperative for you to make clear to President Abbas that Palestinian Authority participation in a unity government with an unreformed Hamas will jeopardize its relationship with the United States, including its receipt of U.S. aid."

The letter notes that U.S. law proscribes assistance to any government that includes Hamas, unless it and its ministers comply with principles laid down by the Quartet: recognizing Israel and renouncing terrorism. "We urge you to conduct a review of the current situation and suspend aid should Hamas refuse to comply with Quartet conditions."

A disturbing alliance has emerged...

The Palestinian reconciliation agreement formalized Wednesday in Cairo explodes the status quo that has prevailed in the West Bank and Gaza for four years - along with the diplomatic strategy pursued by the Obama administration.

In agreeing to form a new cabinet with Hamas, Mr. Abbas spelled the end of the institution-building program under Prime Minister Salam Fayyad - which has been the most progressive and hopeful initiative in Palestinian affairs in many years. He turned his back on the prospect of U.S.-brokered peace talks with the Israeli government of Benjamin Netanyahu; instead, the new Palestinian administration will focus on winning recognition from the UN General Assembly.

It is not clear whether the new government will recognize Israel. If it does not, the Obama administration will be legally required to cut off $600 million in U.S. aid, and Congress may do so in any case.
If Hamas prisoners now held in the West Bank are released, what has been close cooperation between Israel and the U.S.-trained Palestinian security forces could come to an abrupt end.

U.S. diplomacy should aim at reinforcing the notion that Palestinian statehood, whether or not it is endorsed by the UN, must be realized through negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians.A unified and democratically elected Palestinian leadership is a prerequisite for creating a state - but so is a government that renounces terrorism, gives up missiles and other heavy weapons, and is prepared to fully recognize Israel.

As in the days of Israel's rebirth in 1948, the Arabs are still trying the long and illegal way around to gain their statehood.

The public debate in Israel over the Palestinian plan to seek UN support for statehood in September is based on a fundamental misconception: the UN General Assembly cannot by itself establish a Palestinian state. It can admit new members to the UN only after they have been nominated first by the UN Security Council.

The UN General Assembly already recommended the creation of a Palestinian state on December 15, 1988, and has even insisted on the 1967 lines––this is not God's will for Israel. The 1988 resolution was backed by 104 countries; only the U.S. and Israel opposed it.

In 1998, when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was confronted with a plan by Yasser Arafat to declare a state in 1999, the Israeli government warned that such a move would constitute "a substantive and fundamental violation of the Interim Agreement" between Israel and the Palestinians (the Oslo II agreement). It issued a formal statement saying that if such a violation occurred, then Israel would be entitled to take all necessary steps to protect itself. The press fails to recognize this fact today.

Oslo II clearly established that "Neither side shall initiate or take any step that will change the status of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip pending the outcome of the Permanent Status negotiations" (Article 31). The European Union actually signed Oslo II as a witness. Now some of their memories seems to have faded.

Israel must firmly oppose the September initiative in the General Assembly, even if the Palestinians already have the votes. It must make absolutely clear that this move is no less than a material breach of a core commitment in the Oslo Agreements, as the Israeli government asserted in 1998. Only a strong Israeli response will deter Abbas from going further down the road of unilateralism.

It's not yet certain that a political deal announced Wednesday by the Palestinian Fatah and Iranian backed Hamas factions will stick - similar pacts have been proclaimed and then discarded in the last four years. But one thing is sure: If Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas moves forward with the reconciliation with the Islamic Hamas movement, it will mean he has written off the Obama administration and the peace process it has tried to broker, once and for all.

The reconciliation could mean the end of the West Bank administration headed by Salam
Fayyad, a technocrat highly respected by both Americans and Israelis. If so, Congress will almost certainly suspend $400 million in annual U.S. aid.

As in 1948, much of the "good news" about Israel never makes it out to the general public. My novel Rebirth highlights the same publicity problems in 1948 as we see today. So here's some more good news about Israel that the press won't publish because it does NOT serve their bias against Israel. It's up to Israel's friends to announce the good news I guess...

This story resonates with the all familiar backward Arab government oppressions that the Arab people are protesting in the streets of Israel's neighboring countries––and now the PA authorities wants the same?

Palestinians who worked in Jewish settlements in 2010 made almost double the wage of their peers in the public and service sectors, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics said in a new report released Wednesday.

14% of the Palestinian workforce are employed in West Bank settlements. Average daily wages for settlement workers were 150 shekels ($44) per day, compared to 76.9 ($22) in the West Bank and 46.2 ($13.50) in Gaza.

"Palestinian workers in our factories are making closer to three times the wages they would be making in the PA," said settlement leader Yaakov David Ha'ivri. "I guess that is the reason that Salam Fayyad's threats to impose a workers boycott never materialized."

"It would be very interesting to see the results of a true open and democratic referendum of the local Arab population" to learn if they would prefer a ban on settlements or to continue working in them, he added. (Maan News-PA)

Keep praying for Israel

Even though things were grim most of the time and looked bright a few times for Israel in 1948, Rebirth shows many believers were still praying to make sure God moved among Israel.

Good thing an election year is coming soon: Obama has been advised to stop opposing Israel because the American majority will not re-elect a president that is against Israel. Let's all be wise and know that if he's foolishly re-elected, he will revert to his anti-Semitic ways and turn on his promise to support Israel once again.

The notion Palestinians are cooking up, for UN action on Palestinian statehood this fall, won't deliver them a state or even bring them closer to one, most think. The result will be the opposite: forcing the U.S. to oppose Palestinian efforts, energizing Congress to restrict assistance to Palestinian institution-building, and probably prompting Israel to do very real things on the ground.

The Palestinian Authority doesn't control Gaza, most of the West Bank or its putative capital in east Jerusalem. An empty resolution in New York will score points where it doesn't count and reflect a lack of capacity where it does - on the ground. No matter how artful and skillful the UN campaign is, the U.S. will almost certainly oppose it. Washington will veto the resolution in the Security Council, and won't concede the principle of declaring statehood outside of negotiations. To say that the Obama administration won't risk spending political capital on an international campaign to isolate Israel in the UN General Assembly the year before a presidential election is probably the understatement of the century.

Then there's Israel. Time and again, the Israelis have shown that they will defy rather than submit to international pressure.

One of Rebirth's historic scenes takes the reader into the basement of the Haganah, the Jewish underground military headquarters on Nov 29th, 1947, to listen to the anticipated news of the UN's first ever task to take a vote from the world community about establishing a two state proposal - UN Resolution 181. One state for the Jews and one for the Arabs. Because the Jews accepted the resolution when it was passed, and the Arabs rejected it, Israel now holds the majority of that proposed land, which I believe the Lord intended all along.

Today, the saga continues:

Israeli leaders have complained for years that the UN is biased against the Jewish state, that it judges almost every action of Israel through a Palestinian prism. And now, evidence that the entire enterprise was skewed against Israel ever since the original resolution was passed. "Skewed" is not our word. It's Goldstone's, a judge that sits on the UN council who had formerly condemned Israel on many occasions and has now retracted many of his former biased judgements. He writes that he "insisted on changing the original mandate adopted by the Human Rights Council, which was skewed against Israel." He writes of "the UN Human Rights Council, whose history of bias against Israel cannot be doubted."

Israel didn't target civilians. Hamas did and sent hundreds of rockets into Israeli towns. The report called on Israel and Hamas to investigate their soldiers' actions. Israel did. Hamas didn't. The UN should formally retract the Goldstone report. But it can't stop there. The UN needs to acknowledge that it has not been an honest broker in the Middle East. It needs to acknowledge that its human rights panel continues to be an embarrassment that greatly undermines the standing of the world body.

The New York Times reported Sunday that the UN may vote this fall to recognize a Palestinian state in the West Bank, Gaza and east Jerusalem. The UN does not have the moral authority for such a declaration. It has not been an honest broker.

The Lord had made good on His promise to reestablish Israel and in Amos 9:14,15, He promised that the land 'would never again be uprooted'. So do we stop praying because God has it covered? NEVER stop praying for peace in Israel––this is God's will that we intercede on behalf of His people and His will.

Israel is under mounting pressure to make a far-reaching offer to the Palestinians or face a UN vote welcoming the State of Palestine whose territory includes all of the West Bank, Gaza and east Jerusalem.
Israel, seeing the prospect of even more hostile governments as its neighbors, is insisting on caution. It also wants to build in extensive long-term security guarantees in any two-state solution. "Does the world think it is going to force Israel to declare the 1967 lines and giving up Jerusalem as a basis for negotiation?" asked a top Israeli official. "That will never happen."

"Whatever we put forward has to be grounded in security arrangements because of what is going on regionally," said former Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Zalman Shoval. "We are facing the rebirth of the eastern front as Iran grows strong. We have to secure the Jordan Valley. And no Israeli government is going to move tens of thousands of Israelis from their homes quickly."

A perfect reason why we should continue spreading the word about Israel's humble beginnings.

We - a Muslim-Palestinian social scientist, and a Jewish-American historian - believe there are many reasons why it's important, even essential, that Arabs learn about the Holocaust and Israel's rebirth. Entire chapters of history have been expunged from the curricula that Arab governments teach their students. This is particularly true of the Holocaust.

So methodical, so vicious and so exhaustive was the Nazi effort to exterminate the Jewish people that a new word was coined to describe it - "genocide." All genocides before and since are judged against the Holocaust.

But what little Palestinians, and Arabs more generally, know about the Holocaust is often skewed by the perverted prism of Arab popular culture. If Arabs knew more about the Holocaust in particular and genocide in general, perhaps some Arab voices would be more forceful in trying to stop similar atrocities.

We should urge Palestinians to learn about the Holocaust and Israel's rebirth so they can be armed with knowledge to reject the comparison between the Holocaust and the Palestinian issues they complain about.

With all the suffering Palestinians have endured, their struggle with Israel is still, at its core, a political conflict, one that can end through diplomacy and agreements. The Holocaust was not a political conflict: the very idea of a "Nazi-Jewish peace process" is absurd.

My upcoming novel Rebirth shows the same tactics that Arabs learned from Nazis:

Big Iranian weapons shipments seized off the coast of Gaza; an Israeli family of five slaughtered in their beds; a barrage of more than 90 rockets fired at Israeli population centers over the past few days; and the terrorist attack at a bus station in Jerusalem are not isolated events. Nor are they outbursts of random violence by otherwise peace-loving Palestinians driven to despair by a stalemated peace process.
These outrages are better understood as part of a strategic campaign by hardened terrorist groups, closely tied to Iran, Syria, and Hizbullah, to divert attention from the popular uprisings that have targeted tyrannical governments across the Middle East.

Iran, Syria, and their allies want to change the subject as fast as possible. The easiest way to do that has always been to trigger a major dustup with Israel.

Pray for Jerusalem - terror struck

If Israel was better recognized in 1948...

As my new novel Rebirth is fresh on my mind since I recently finished it, I'm still amazed that what I researched from 1948 still holds true today. It's as if the opposers of Israel have not emerged out of the past. This recent story that was just posted today if right from a scene in Rebirth!

If Israel was recognized in 1948, then the Palestinians would have been able to free themselves from the hollow promises of some Arab dictators who kept telling them that the refugees would be back in their homes and all Arab lands will be liberated and Israel will be sent to the bottom of the sea.

Some Arab leaders used the Palestinians for their own agenda to suppress their own people and to stay in power.

Since 1948, if an Arab politician wanted to be the hero and the leader of the Arab world, then he has a very easy way to do it. He just shouts as loud as he can about the intention to destroy Israel, without mobilizing one soldier.

Now, the Palestinians are on their own. Each Arab country is busy with its own crisis. For now, the Arab countries have put the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on hold.

In my novel titled Rebirth, about the rebirth of Israel in 1948, settlements of Jews were a hot topic in the international community. And even prior to 1948, when the Jews were finally liberated from Hitler's grip, no country wanted the Jews to settle in their land––with no place to go, they acted on God's promise in Amos 9:14,15.

As one who has long entertained doubts about the wisdom and viability of much of the settlement enterprise, I find myself cheering Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for announcing, in the wake of the Fogel family massacre, the construction of hundreds of additional homes in the settlements. Israel's consistent mistake since the peace process began nearly 18 years ago was to suppose that conspicuous displays of reasonableness and moderation would beget likewise on the other side. The reality has been closer to the opposite.

For 60 years, no nation has been held to such stringent moral account, or such ceaseless international hectoring, as Israel. And no people has been held to so slight an account as the Palestinians. Palestinians have grown accustomed to the waiver the rest of the world has consistently granted them over the years no matter what they do.

The next step will come later this month when Palestinians hope to extract a public commitment from the Middle East Quartet that any peace deal be based on the pre-1967 armistice lines. Israel rejects the 1967 lines as a basis for talks.

To overcome a possible U.S. veto at the Security Council, Palestinians say they plan to take their case to the UN General Assembly, where they believe they would have a majority of the votes. While writing my new novel Rebirth, about the rebirth of Israel in 1948, I have learned that my country of which I love, has been historically divided over supporting Israel. I understand that since we have liberals and conservatives in our government, but those who oppose Israel are missing why we should support them.

Besides the obvious reasons stated in Genesis 12:3 'I will bless those who bless you (Israel) and curse those who treat you with contempt'... Israel is our best strategic partner in helping us combat terrorism!

We have never had a president that has been so flippant about Israel since Jimmy Carter, like our current president Obama. He can't make up his mind if he can stick to American policy or not.

In an hour-long meeting Tuesday with about 50 representatives from the Jewish community's chief foreign policy umbrella group, the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, President Obama reportedly urged Jewish leaders to "search your souls" over Israel's seriousness about making peace. While top leaders welcomed the meeting and noted the president's affirmation of his "deep commitment to Israel's security," several participants told JTA that the president also implied that Israel bears primary responsibility for advancing the peace process. Obama also reportedly said that the Arab sections of Jerusalem would not remain in Israeli hands as part of any peace deal.

In my novel Rebirth, I've already had numerous opposition in speaking good things about Israel. Below is a perfect example of radical Islamist opposition to teaching factual history about the holocaust. This is because the radical Islamist cannot accept that the Jews have been persecuted for thousands of years. If they were to accept this reality, then the world would have to accept the Jews and Israel as a legitimate nation!

The history of the Holocaust is planned to be included as part of a human rights curriculum in UN-run schools attended by more than 200,000 Palestinian children in Gaza. However, Hamas has said it will do all it can to stop the teaching of Holocaust studies. "We cannot agree to a program that is intended to poison the minds of our children," said a statement from the ministry for refugee affairs. "Holocaust studies in refugee camps is a contemptible plot and serves the Zionist entity."

Islamists teaching their children

Portions of my novel Rebirth, shows how some Islamists have (and still are) teaching their children to hate Jews, Americans, and many of our allies. Today those children are adults and have carried out the desires of their fathers and grandfathers. Of course this is another lesson learned from their mentors the Nazis who also believed in teaching their children to hate Jews and anyone who desired to help them survive.

I contemplated showing the child photos of Muslims training their young children to become suicide bombers, but I couldn't bring myself to post them publicly. If you want to see them privately, you can request them from me.

Mark Gardner and Dave Rich analyzed leading Egyptian cleric Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi's 2003 book, Fatwas on Palestine, and concluded that this putatively moderate Islamic cleric argues clearly and consistently that hatred of Israel and Jews is Islamically sanctioned, and that the destruction of Israel is mandated by God. Qaradawi writes: It is "obligatory upon every Muslim wherever he is to defend Jerusalem, and al-Aqsa Mosque. This is an obligation upon all Muslims to participate in defending Jerusalem with their souls, money, and all that they possess." Qaradawi warns Muslims not to be friends with Jews, because such friendship might diminish their desire to wage jihad against Israel.

It boggles my mind of how many groups hate Israel, the United States and many of our allies. In my research of Rebirth I've uncovered more hate groups than I can keep track of. I'm not surprised about the Muslim Brotherhood's sneaky deception of trying to "look good" to the world of democracy. I hope this article will open your eyes to see they really are another diabolical group that have their early roots in Nazism.

As I discussed in my last article one must look at a groups friends to help determine what their motives are. A great scripture to confirm this test of a person's character is: 'Show me the person's friends and I will show you the person.' Upon careful research for my novel Rebirth, I have traced one of the Muslim Brotherhood's "friends" to Hitler's Arab fuhrer of the Middle East, as he was called. He was Yassar Arafat's uncle, Haj Amin Al Huseini. He is pictured to the right speaing about the "Jewish problem" to Hitler. Al Huseini was funded by the Nazis to broadcast his own radio program to carry Anti-Semitic messages to the Arab world all throughout Europe in Arabic. In addition to that, he rallied 20,000 Arab soldiers to join the SS army. He's pictured below to the right saluting the SS army.

The Muslim Brotherhood has taken a greater role in organizing the protest against the Egyptian regime as it unfolds its independent political agenda. Rashad al-Bayumi, the Brotherhood's second-in-command, announced in an interview with Japanese TV that the group would join a transitional government in order to cancel the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel. He further stressed that Egypt does not need American aid.

The Muslim Brotherhood does indeed participate in the democratic process. That is not, however, because it has accepted the principles of Western democracy, but rather because the democratic process can be exploited to establish an Islamic regime which will then render democracy unnecessary. The Muslim Brotherhood's step-by-step plan dictates its supposed "moderation," which will gradually vanish as its achievements increase and its acceptance of the existing situation is replaced by a strict, orthodox Muslim rule whose foreign policy is based on jihad.

Muslim Brotherhood Dangerous?

As I stated in my last post, the Muslim Brotherhood is mentioned in my new novel Rebirth, as a partner to Amin Al Huseini, who was the worst enemy to Israel's rebirth in 1948.

It's easy to be taken in by the Muslim Brotherhood: Eight decades as a disciplined, underground organization, outwardly involved in charitable social work, have made them experts at tailoring messages to separate audiences.

Hassan al-Banna (1906-1949), the Brotherhood's founder, was an admirer of the fascist movements of his day, and he had similar ambitions for his own movement. "Andalusia, Sicily, the Balkans, south Italy and the Roman sea islands were all Islamic lands that have to be restored to the homeland of Islam," he wrote. "As Signor Mussolini believed that it was within his right to revive the Roman Empire...similarly it is our right to restore to the Islamic empire its glory."

The Brotherhood's Kamal al-Hilbawi told Iran's Al-Alam TV earlier this month: "We think highly of a country...that confronts Western hegemony, and is scientifically and technologically advanced. Unfortunately, these characteristics can be found only in the Islamic Republic of Iran."

Muhammad Badie, the Brotherhood's supreme guide, sermonized in October: "Resistance is the only solution against the Zio-American arrogance and tyranny....The improvement and change that the [Muslim] nation seeks can only be attained...by raising a jihadi generation that pursues death just as the enemies pursue life."

In 2005, candidates for the Brotherhood took 20% of the parliamentary vote. Gamal al-Banna, Hassan's youngest brother, once told me they command as much as 40% support. Unless Egypt's secular forces can coalesce into serious political parties, the people for whom Islam is the solution won't find the fetters of democracy to be much of a problem.

The Muslim Brotherhood learned their sleek tactics from their mentors the Nazis. My new novel Rebirth chronicles some of the activities of their early partner/co-conspirator, Al Huseini who was the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and a personal friend of top ranking Nazi leaders like Adolph Eichmann. He is the person in the photo off to the right conversing with Hitler about "the Jewish problem".

Al Huseini was the single most destructive Arab against Jews of all time! He legacy is still considered heroic to much of the Islamic world today.

Islamists may run for office and hold themselves out as democrats; but once power is in their grasp, they do not voluntarily relinquish it. Just months after Hamas, a self-described "wing of the Muslim Brotherhood," won a majority of seats in the Palestinian elections in 2006, it violently seized control of Gaza.
If Egypt is to have any hope of a transition to a genuine constitutional democracy, the Muslim Brotherhood must not be treated as a legitimate democratic partner. Its credo could hardly be more explicit, or more antidemocratic: "Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Koran is our law. Jihad is our way.
Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope." This week, senior Brotherhood figure Kamal al-Halbavi said his wish for Egypt is "a good government like the Iranian government, and a good president like Mr. Ahmadinejad, who is very brave."

What Israel learned from the Holocaust

Here's another example of why my new novel Rebirth, is a timely piece.

Israeli Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs Minister Yuli Edelstein addressed a special event in Brussels on Tuesday marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day:

In the spring of 1939 George the VI, King of England, instructed his private secretary to write to British Foreign Secretary Lord Halifax, having learned that "a number of Jewish refugees from different countries were surreptitiously getting into Palestine." The king was "glad to learn that steps are being taken to prevent these people leaving their country of origin." Halifax's office telegraphed Britain's ambassador in Berlin asking him to encourage the German government "to check the unauthorized emigration" of Jews.
Today the apologists for the king explain that he was not an anti-Semite. To prevent Jewish immigration to Palestine was an official government policy, they say, to pacify Arab Muslim resistance to the Zionist movement. Indeed, this policy, as we know now, was a resounding success. Millions of Jews didn't escape their "countries of origin," except with the smoke of the crematorium chimneys.

What have we learned? Jews should be united, Jews should be independent, and Jews should be armed and ready to fight for their continual freedom to prevent any future attempted Holocausts.

The State of Israel stands today as a guarantee that no kings, no ministers, no policies will doom the Jews again, that there always will be a gate that is open and a beacon that shines friendly. That is what "Never again" means. It means lesson learned.

Some things never change

In all my research about the rebirth of Israel, I've never seen a feud that just won't diffuse or even cool down.

Scholars, pundits, propagandists, and journalists have created two dangerous pieces of conventional wisdom about the Middle East: that Israelis, not Palestinians, have been the main stumbling block to peace, and that the U.S. has failed to use its influence to pressure Israel for serious compromises. Both propositions are largely untrue.

Israel has a long and compelling history of making major concessions to Arabs. Israel agreed to return the entire Sinai Peninsula, booty of a war it did not start and an act of territorial generosity unprecedented in modern history. When Israel departed Gaza in 2005, it uprooted 9,000 Israeli settlers. In return, Israel got rockets and a terrorist enclave run by Hamas.

At each step in the tortuous negotiating process, the U.S. has pushed Israel toward concessions, but received little or no credit from the Arab side because they think the U.S. is capable of exerting even more pressure on Israel. Nonetheless, the American role has been real and substantial.

Startling fact # 2 The Brits

The British are coming!

During and after WWII the British were enemy number three in line right behind the Nazis and Arabs to holocaust survivors trying to enter their Promised Land.

Most people don't know that after WWII ended, the Jews not only had nowhere to go, but even when they did try to settle somewhere, most countries would not allow them to immigrate into their land.

When they tried to follow God's written promise (Amos 9:14,15) and set out for their Promised Land, another enemy violently opposed them. Hundreds of thousands of Jews were boarding anything that would float to cross the rough Mediterranean sea toward the underdeveloped barren territory of Palestine. But the British seized dozens of ships mid-sea and arrested these Jews for attempting to enter the British-ruled area.

The Brits forced these Jews to an internment camp on the island of Cypress and detained over 50,000 refugees from the late 1930s until 1949. 4,000 babies were born in the substandard camp which was occupied with Nazi war criminals as the caretakers.

Rebirth takes you on this journey so you can relive the plight of these battered holocaust survivors in the aftermath of WWII. The novel continues to show the most incredible upset in world history as Israel declares independence on May 14th, 1948.

I know that’s not possible, but if it were, what I did recently would cause him to roll over.

I have a pain in my side that several tests cannot find, so the last test was done with sci-fi technology invented in Israel.

To look inside my small intestines for the source of my pain, I swallowed a mini wireless camera with its own built-in light source. The pill made its way through my system with no problems while transmitting a signal to a receiver hanging around my neck, the size of a small hard drive.

The Jews are NOT brainwashing children in military training camps, teaching them how to blow themselves up and cause maximum deaths of Muslims or other non-Muslims!

65 years later I should forget and live a nice retired life in peace. Most my family are dead from Nazi murder. My grandfather fought in the first world war for Hungary's freedom, and held me for 3 days in the train to HELL, assuring me we would be spared since he was a veteran with a medal in his possession. When he flashed it to the Germans ushering us to HELL, the guard slap it out of his hand. That was the last I saw of him. Later I received news he was killed in Auschwitz.

Theologically - no. . . . Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon

Socially - no. . . Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make

Politically - no.. . . Because he must submit to the mullahs

(spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction

Domestically - no. .. . Because he is instructed to marry four Women

and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34 )

The Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in the Quran's 99 excellent names.

Therefore, after much study and deliberation.... Perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL COMMITTED MUSLIMS in this country. - - - They obviously cannot be both 'good' Muslims and ‘good’ Americans simultaneously IF they are being honest and true to their Muslim faith. Call it what you wish it's still the truth. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future.

I don't want to generalize, be prejudice, and say that ALL Muslims are against our American way. MANY other religious people do NOT live within their own religious rules. But NO DOUBT, we do have enemies living among us and we need to live with our eyes open.

The religious war is bigger than we know or understand.

Parallel Nations

Everybody knows there are similarities between Israel and America in some respects. Besides being democratic states and allies, there are surprisingly many more similarities than most don't know about on both spiritual and secular levels.

On a spiritual plane most Jews knew to flee to the Promised Land, which at the time was renamed Palestine by their first holocaust instigators, the Romans in A.D 70. Why did the Romans hate these Jews so much that they slaughtered over a million of them in the first century? It’s because the same source of information that fed Jewish ideals, also influenced the founding fathers of America. It’s the same values that have sparked a threat to the ideals of the Romans, Islamists, Nazis, and today large portions of the Arab world. Because of these ideals they have attempted to slaughter Jews, Christians and Americans, an many of our allies for centuries.

Today, our mighty war on terror finds its roots in nations and persons that violently oppose the following shared ideals between Israel and America, and many of our allies: Freedom of speech, equality for women, free enterprise, the right to own land and businesses without government interference, freedom of religion, and a democratic government.

Another significant parallel between Israel and America is how we gained our independence. We were both persecuted underdogs by the British government. We both fought the British quite violently for our freedom and won! Of course, Israel fought even harder, because not only did they have the British to fight prior to its rebirth, they also simultaneously had to battle the numerous Arab neighboring countries that out numbered, and out gunned them by hundreds to one. To add to the impossibility of winning, there were also numerous loyal Nazis on the run from WWII war crimes who aided their Arab friends as they had pledged to continue to carry out Hitler’s dream of eradicating all Jews and anyone who sided with them.

Most don’t know that Americans also received assistance from Jews in our battle for independence: "They (the Jews of Sint Eustatius Island) cannot too soon be taken care of - they are notorious in the cause of America and France."

The Jews of this strategic island provided numerous arms to the rebel American fighters and paid dearly for it when Admiral Rodney invaded the island, burned Jewish homes and synagogues, and deported Jewish men back to England without their wives and children.

I thank God that our government has had the wisdom to support Israel thus far, similar to the way the French and Jews supported America in the battle for our freedom—we have been rewarded by God for our support for Israel with prosperity and freedom that many around the world can’t even imagine.

Dead Sea scrolls-a turning hinge in history

Recently I took a tour of the Dead Sea Scrolls that were on display at Pacific University in Southern California.

A young Shepard found the first set of scrolls in Palestine while chasing a stray goat to a cave in 1947. The scrolls that were housed in clay pots have been authenticated as the most significant archaeological find in history, and are now priceless. The boy and his father sold them to an antiquities dealer in Jerusalem for $ 97.20.

What does this have to do with Israel? The scrolls were found just months before Israel prophetically became a nation. After 2000 years of sitting dormant, both of God’s treasured establishments were unveiled to our modern world. Was the timing of this amazing find and the simultaneous reestablishment of His nation a coincidence? I don't think so. Both the scrolls and the nation of Israel had seized to exist in a similar time era, about AD 70, and were reestablished for our modern scholars to decipher. The amazing part is the scrolls themselves mention this. They were intentionally hidden, 'until God decides to have them revealed in His timing'.

The scrolls are 1000 years older than the manuscripts that our modern day Bible had been derived from.

Prior to this find, many skeptics said the Torah and the Old Testament Bible had to be watered down since the oldest reference available was a 1000 years from the original writings. But after years of study by many of the world’s renowned archaeologist and scholars, the Dead Sea Scrolls matched our present day Bible with about 95% accuracy. The 5% discrepancy still matched the meaning, only the choice of words varied slightly. What are the odds of any ancient writings preserving so much detail after a 1000 gap?

Either fragments or whole copies of every book in the Old Testament had been found except the book of Esther.

This is why the Jews were called ‘God’s chosen people’. Not because they are more special or privileged then us Gentiles, but because they were chosen to write, deliver and preserve God’s message, God’s autobiography, and man’s manual for life. Perhaps this explains part of the reason for worldwide anti-Semitism since the scriptures were written. A lot of people have been persecuted for delivering God's message, so it only makes sense that the writers would also.

The Bible is still the world’s premier bestselling book, and is the instruction manual that came with God’s creation of man, not to mention a historical account of how we got here and what our purpose in life is. Everything a person needs to live a fulfilled life is written in this book for our instruction.

God said in the last days the nation of Israel would be revealed, and God would pour out his spirit on mankind.

Support what God supports

Besides supporting a nation that is the only democratic country in the Middle East, the support of Israel is pleasing to God! As the last entry showed the proof: "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt." Genesis 12:1-3 This is what God said concerning Israel.

I don't want this site to be a political one--but a spiritual one. But here I go at least on this one issue. I think our current president has joined those who are ignoring what prominent Arab and Muslim leasers have said and continue to reinstate. “Death to Israel!” There is no need to even quote or document that statement on this blog—we have all heard it on the news repeatedly.

Mr. president: If you were to take Arab leaders at their word, and read the curriculums in their schools, you will easily conclude that the Palestinians’ top priority is not land in Israel. It’s the elimination of Jews all together!

Wake up and read the ancient scriptures…So far, they have been 100% accurate. “I will curse those who treat you with contempt.”

My question to all readers is this: Is our national security dependant on what happens to Israel?

The rebirth of Israel in 1948, marks one of the most significant prophecies in the Bible. The event is on par with the parting of the Red Sea and is a similar demonstration of God's love to all persons that live in persecution. The consistent message these events state; that if you are willing to devote your trust to God, He will deliver you from evil. He may not do it in the time frame you ask, but He promises to do it. In His time, according to His will.

“‘But the time is coming,’ says the Lord, ‘when people who are taking an oath will no longer say, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who rescued the people of Israel from the land of Egypt.’ Instead, they will say, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the people of Israel back to their own land from the land of the north and from all the countries to which he had exiled them.’ For I will bring them back to this land that I gave their ancestors.” Jeremiah 16:14-15. This prophecy became true on May 14th, 1948.

Even if you don't consider yourself religious, it's fascinating to read about this tiny little strip of land (smaller than California) of which has caused much hatred around the world toward the United States, and any other country or group that supports them. Israel had been foretold to be decimated thousands of years ago and re gathered in the last days. 1948 marks a true "sign of the times."

But don't take my word for it. Read on or click the newspaper above and see for yourself. The prophecies are documented to be very old (long before 1948, obviously) and accurate. They're not vague either. They state plain and simple that God will rebirth the nation of Israel. In A.D. 70, they were decimated and scattered by the Roman Empire. Nearly 2,000 years later, they were re gathered as it says above despite five neighboring Arab countries attacking and attempting to annihilate them. The one-day-old nation had 4 planes, no tanks, very little artillery, and a disadvantage of 60:1 in troops. They bravely battled against the established nations of Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Syria and Saudi Arabia simultaneously. Every body looking on could see the certainly of another holocaust. Except someone stood in their way.

Why is this of any significance today? In America, we directly received blessings from God because or our consistent support of Israel. Of course our government wavers from time to time. But all in all, when the chips are down, we have supported them through the years. Thus we receive a promise of blessing from God. In one significant day when the British gave up opposing the Jews and left their occupation of Palestine, now modern day Israel, the Jews rose their flag and proclaimed their nation of Israel.

You’re not prejudiced are you?

I’m not…I never pass a homeless person without either helping them or praying for them. I don't treat rich people nicer than poor people. I never give my all for one person over another. And I don’t favor my neighbors on my right over the ones on the left. I treat all people equally all the time.

Okay, let’s step back into reality. I constantly catch myself exercising prejudice to some extent. The more I exercise anything like that, the stronger it gets. What a terrible disposition. And who’s lead am I following? The very first being to instigate prejudice was Satan. He passed the venom to Adam and Eve saying, “Surely you won’t die if you eat that fruit.” They passed it to their children and so on.

This deceitful sin made it’s way down to infamous leaders like the Roman Caesars and Adolph Hitler who both used their intelligence to put new spins on the poison. That toxin murdered a million Jews in the first century, and six million in the twentieth, because Jews derived their ideals from the Bible: All men and women are created equal, like our founding fathers recited in America. That same democratic ideal has become the fuel to ignite fundamentalist Islamist to publicly state their prejudice, ‘death to America and Israel.’

One of the prime sparks that reignited Arab tensions towards Jews in Europe was the funding and solicitation of radio transmissions from Germany to all of Europe in Arabic. Hitler's goal was to spread his gossip of lies to the entire European Arab population. Arab leader Haj Amin al-Husseini thrived at the opportunity.

Prejudice will be the demise of all men and women some day when the battle of Armageddon erupts. Once again, Satan will lead unsuspecting people to the ultimate demise.

Leviticus 19:33 says (paraphrased) ‘When a stranger comes to your town, do not mistreat him. That person must be treated like everyone else.’ I find it unthinkable that I am bias toward God’s word sometimes.

Prejudice is so contagious it becomes automatically reused. I know it’s harmful, but I still use it. And thus I spread it to my children. My multicultural friends will tell you I'm not prejudice in the conventional sense. But when you read the white space in my life, that area that exist between the lines in all of us, you'll find a sinful nature that I must contend with.

So how do we rid ourselves of it? Just like a recovering alcoholic overcomes the deadly grip of the enticing liquid. First we admit we have fallen to its beckoning call, at least to some degree. It takes humility and honesty to say, ‘I do have prejudice in my life.’ Next, ask God to remove it. Finally, a dose of regular scripture reading accompanied with prayer will help tame the beast inside us. Probably not completely because we are inherently similar to dogs that return to their vomit, or criminals that return to the crime scene; or a snack hungry person that can’t stop eating junk food.

Unfortunately I only feel the sting of Prejudice when it’s aimed at me. Why can’t I see that my prejudice against others does the same harm?
